I truly believe that construction is ingrained within my DNA. My grandfather was a prominent individual within the industry. He was one of the most talented persons I’ve known. His skills were vast and multifaceted – he exhibited exceptional competence in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, HVAC, and even elevator repairs. 

Needless to say, I was captivated by his expertise and the incarnate nature of his work. Thus, I ended up spending a lot of my free time with him. Before long, I was introduced to the construction and development industry at the very young age of thirteen (13).

As I matured during my teenage years and into adolescence, I realized my own potential and felt compelled to continue the legacy of craftsmanship which my family carried for generations. This calling was strong and I was determined to carry my family’s work ethics to new heights. It was this drive that propelled me to become an entrepreneur and establish my own company that will play a role in the construction industry.

Fueled by ambition and a passion, I established a small interior demolition company, Velez Demolition Inc. Accompanying me along the way was my trusty 1990 Saab 9000. As time progressed, I realized that the name I gave to my company lacked the resonance I sought. After much consideration, I settled on Ridge Contracting Corp; a name which symbolizes reaching the pinnacle of one’s potential – much like climbing to the top of a mountain. From that moment, it felt like Ridge Contracting Corp was catapulted to the place I initially envisioned; matching my ambition to uplift my family and create a meaningful legacy.

Twenty (20) years down the road, and Ridge Contracting Corp has flourished beyond my wildest expectation. The growth we’ve experienced as a team at Ridge Contracting Corp is a testament to the love I have for my work and my clients. I awake every morning excited and invigorated to tackle the challenges of each day. 

However, the success of Ridge Contracting Corp cannot be attributed to just one person – it has always been a collective effort. Each person on our dedicated team diligently plays their role in the company. The Ridge Contracting Corp team goes above and beyond to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients. 

At Ridge Contracting Crop we have forged a relationship that goes beyond the workplace. We see ourselves as a family. With a shared passion and vision, we continue to strive for excellence within the construction industry; and to surpass the expectation of clients.

In conclusion, I have no doubt about the longevity of Ridge Contracting Corp. It’ll be a name that will live on for generations.
